The web-slinger helps the New York Fire Department battle a huge blaze on the lower east side. After the fire has been extinguished, the wall-crawler recalls that he fought an epic battle at that same location several years ago. Peter Parker puts two and two together, and makes a beeline for New Jersey to visit (or perhaps rescue) Liz Allan! Will Spider-Man get there first...or will the Molten Man?! Also in this issue, it is revealed that Harry Osborn and Liz Allan are now married.
