Windows for the Dark; Warren goes a bit further off the deep end and starts imagining he is seeing Alice; He wanders around his home town and finds himself back at his old neighborhood; A neighborhood that has long since fallen into ruin; He wanders his old haunts that have turned to dangerous places to be alone; Two thugs attempt to mug him and the Shadow comes out to protect him and to convince him to take up the undesirable ways of his youth; As Warren is wandering he is saved from walking in front of a truck by Louis, a friendly coffee vendor. Shen confronts the Shadow and tries to destroy it.
