The new regular art team of Joe Bennett (BIRDS OF PREY, Captain America & The Falcon) & Ruy Jose continue a storyline that takes Hawkman on a year-long journey through hell! An army of the undead soldiers rampages through the streets of St. Roch, destroying everything and everyone in their path. Hawkman and Hawkgirl join forces with the enigmatic Deadman, who has taken possession of a familar body to combat the zombie menace!
Hawkman and Hawkgirl face unspeakable horrors as a ghost ship bearing mysterious cargo arrives in the port of St. Roch, while a riot breaks out at Belle Reve prison. Several of Hawkman's forgotten foes gather in secret, as a sorcerer unleashes an army of flesh-eating zombies on the unsuspecting populace of St. Roch, and a tower of darkness rises to seal off the city from the outside world!
It's the beginning of a year of hell for Hawkman, and the hero's journey takes him to places he never wanted to go!
