At the end of last issue, Captain America resigned from the Avengers. But now he's apparently changed his mind! Under the cover of darkness, Cap recruits four pseudo-avengers for a special mission! Silverclaw, Warbird, Ant-Man (aka Scott Lang), and Captain Marvel (aka Genis-Vell) join the star-spangled avenger for a raid on the Triune Understanding's headquarters in New York! However as the clandestine operation proceeds, Cap's behavior arouses suspicion! Then out of the blue, the Taskmaster materializes inside the Triune's HQ! And the free-for-all begins! Just like the Triune Understanding planned!
