In the continuing saga of Arion, sorcerer in the land of timeless origin, the young magician finds that he must depend on his human resources more than his spells. Strange beings from unexplored outlying empires threaten Arion and his companions more menacingly than any dangers he has faced thus far! Having lost his magic, Arion goes to Thamuz to find something that can help him in Garn's citadel.
