Locus begins final preparations for the coming "Armageddon", while one member of the organization begins to have second thoughts of Locus's objectives while tying up his worldy affairs. Meanwhile the JLA learns that though they defeated 7 appellax in their first adventure, 8 aliens landed that day. On a search to find the 8th Appellax, Green Lantern takes his frustration of Superman's rejection out on the rest of the team. Additionally, Barry Allen realizes he must make a choice between Iris and Black Canary. After installing some cameras around the headquarters on the request of Simon Carr, Snapper discovers one member of the team has been secretly collecting information on all active superheroes, both in their public and private lives.
