Okay, this might get complicated; Alex attends Steven's girlfriend's funeral; he realizes he's a personality that split from Steven when "their" father was killed (or so "they" thought); White Lotus knows Alex is Haywire, but she's attracted to him, and he saves her life when Nightlash attacks them both in a jealous rage; White Lotus has been sent to reclaim the Haywire armor (which Alex only barely comprehends) and she slaughters the combine's officers, believing they were refusing to give up the armor; Finally, Alex doesn't know the two women he's attracted to are both assassins.
