The Fantastic Three (after the tragic events of Fantastic Four #381) are in Las Vegas for a charity event featuring a mock battle between the Hulk and the Thing. Afterwards, a big misunderstanding leads to Ajax of the Pantheon attacking Ben Grimm! Once the Hulk plays peacemaker, the Pantheon realizes that Atalanta has disappeared! And she apparently went missing in the desert! So Ben, Sue, Johnny, and the Green Goliath start searching in the arid wilderness outside the city. And they find her! Then they uncover her captor: the Mole Man! What is he doing in the Silver State? The Mole Man wants the Hulk and the idol of millions to fight again! This time to the death -- double or nothing!
