Betty keeps getting phone calls at home, but because she's always in the farthest place in the house from the phone, she can never reach it before the caller hangs up. Betty needs a little help from Dilton to babysit a precocious eight year old electronics and computer genius. Betty drives out into the country to do some landscape painting, but finds it anything but peaceful. Betty breaks her neck trying to retrieve an invitation to one of Veronica's parties that she thinks she may have discarded.
