We've come full circle with Arion, as the warrior-sorcerer's adventures are once again related by Paul Kupperberg, the co-creator and author of the Lord of Atlantis. After an exciting guest-writing stint, Doug Moench has heeded the clarion call of Hollywood, where he is scripting an upcoming full length feature film. Paul has returned enthusiastically to his writing chores on this title, filled with a regenerated excitement that has ignited co-creator/artist Jan Duursema...causing a coupling of efforts that will reveal itself in this issue. The Atlantean's new adventures will take him over the vast breadth of his heretofore unexplored domain, where he'll face dangers and evils conjured up by the mind of Paul. Arion's character and powers become more clearly delineated, as do the parts played by Wyynde, Chian and others who populate this misty land of antiquity.
